My Journey
I grew up in the Nazarene church. I have attended church all my life, knowing all the sunday school answers.
After high school, I decided to go to Olivet Nazarene University. I met a crazy guy named Jeremiah Bolich who became one of my best friends. During that time at Olivet, I felt Jesus calling me into full-time ministry, and was not sure what that meant. I graduated Olivet in 1999 with a major in Computer Information System with a minor in business and youth ministries.
In the summer of 1999, I had the opportunity to travel with a crazy wild-eyed evangelist named Stephen Manley. That summer changed my life. Jesus continuted to speak to me and guide me in this journey.
Stephen asked Jason Conrad and I to take a group of interns to Christ Central in Columbia, SC to see what God was doing amongst the poor. Jason and I brought five interns to Christ Central in the summer of 2001. After our internship, we all returned back home to our previous lives and jobs.
In May of 2002, I had the awesome priveledge to marry the most beautiful woman in the world. Her name is Brooke, and her and I bought a house in Toledo, OH.
In the summer of 2004, I was working full-time as a software engineer, and volunteering as a youth pastor at Bedford Church of the Nazarene in Lambertville, MI. I felt God calling me back to Christ Central and the poor. So I picked up my family and we moved to Columbia SC to work in that poverty ministry.
This last summer, I have felt God pressing me and revealing to me who I really am. I know that God transitioned me out of working at Christ Central, and I feel Him calling me back to preach to His church. So I am currently in the process of booking revivals and speaking engagements. I am also finishing up schooling to become ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
